A hole in the Malecon

Malecon or Andador .... this is the ocean walk in West Melaque. This must date back to Hurricane Patricia but that was close to 6 months ago. A couple of dump truck loads could at least remove the danger aspect to this first hole. You can see the ocean under the wall so it's unsupported. Priorities in our area can be quite mysterious.

Cuastecomate's new boardwalk

Cuastecomate has a new boardwalk and it just about finishes the wheelchair accessible beach project they have been working on for the last 8 to 10 months. Almost all the palapa restaurants were heavily damaged by Hurricane Patricia and all rebuilt so the whole place looks new.
