Lime Kiln Treasure Hunt

Treasure Hunt because nobody will guess where it is ... and it's an interesting subject. Ezequiel, the land owner, has been working for two weeks to clear the property and it still can't be seen from the road let alone before that. He said his father had two kilns in the same area and they were working 40-50+ years ago. I want to do another post on the Lime making process ... but later.

I originally posted this foto back in 2007 on this blog but hadn't thought about it lately until people started using it on Facebook ..... the latest being Canal 10. In 2007 I lived in Melaque so was on the beach a lot more than now. I also had a good Sony camera then.  ................ Just realized I've been using it on Facebook as my background ;)

Hacienda Agave Reborn

A very nice restaurant didn't make it like many others but the architecture and ambiance are nice. Looks like someone decided to make use of the space. From the sign Ayutla almost looks like a chain but I'm not familiar with them. The menu below looks like only breakfast (desayuno) but the "horno de chivo, res y puerco" looks like other meals too.
