Tito's Place

A Sunday at Tito's Place for a change. After getting tired of frozen French Fries and a tasteless Brocheta that wasn't a Brocheta at Sirenitas .... why not try some place else. I see Tito around town a lot and we remember each other from the days of first Bigotes. I've just not been over to his new restaurant open since about December.

He hasn't painted the front yet and the last two restaurant names are still there, Los Pelicanos and Concha del Mar. I'm sure he's waiting to see how the business goes before putting a bunch of money into it. I really hope he's able to stay open because he has a great welcoming personality and has fresh cut French Fries. No Brocheta on the menu but Sirenita shouldn't have one. Shrimp dishes are 100 pesos, has reasonable breakfasts and beers are 18. Good luck Tito!

Civil Protection Warnings

With unusually large surf for the last few days and the festivities of Semana Santa -- Civil Protection recommends that people take their precautions before entering into any body of water, watch the children and not swimming after eating food or alcoholic beverages.

Warnings come after a drowning in Arroyo Seco and a rescue in Perula and a rescue in Melaque
