Crop dusting the Mangoes
He's been buzzing us all morning. Took a little time to get out there with camera but he was directly over the house at first. All our mango trees are loaded but fruit is still very green. Mangoes are big business around here. A government agency has put insect traps in the Mango tree next door that they check every few weeks. The guy said they were looking for "mango eaters"

Sushi Chan
Wasabi and Ginger? - didn't ask
My neighbor had her little one in Centro de Salud so I walked into town for something to snack on. Basically all Sushi Roles but do have a few other things. Least expensive was about 42 pesos for about 8 rolls. Prices go up quite a bit from there. The kid (waiter) likes to use his English so yer kinda stuck with it. It's on the main street Malecon with a nice breeze coming up from the beach.

SPRINGTIME KITTEN EXPLOSION
36 need adoption
The arrival of kittens has been ceaseless this past month or two. And even after giving away eight kittens to new homes last week, we still have 36 young ones and 2 mamas in our network of foster homes. Some of them are being bottle-fed, others have now been neutered and are awaiting new homes. It is time for a shout-out to our awesome fosterers who are currently caring for these little ones. Big thanks to Sue, Ruette, Sharon, Christine, Susan, Martha, Sandy, Ruben & Lupita, Anne and Erika.
