Hurricane Andres is north and out to sea but it reached a Category 4 for a short time and now we have Tropical Storm Blanca who is supposed to reach Category 4 later this week ... maybe tomorrow. Warnings so far are only for the southern tip of Baja California but it looks to me like wind and rain could effect the whole coast. Definitely surf size will increase.

Batten down the hatches. Those storms that go up toward Baja
over cut right and go into Texas! Texas does NOT need another
drop of water. Keeping my fingers crossed..........
We certainly had an odd windstorm this afternoon in Barra.
Power went out here and some lightning .... but calm this morning
Reached Cat 4 this morning with the possibility of a Cat 5
